Age: 20 Date of Death: 10/11/1943 Service No: 130938 Additional information: Son of Leslie John and Dora Marian Hayden, of Crownhill, Plymouth. Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead Grave/Memorial Reference: Column 268. Memorial: ALAMEIN MEMORIAL but no record for a McMasters with 47 Sqdn at any date... No other casualty that day on Alamein Memorial either, so looks as if he was rescued. Hope of some help. |
