Hello,

Is it possible to know the exact place where fell the P-47, Lieutenant Frank J. BORCYZKA killed June 8, 1944. ?
A report on crash has he done ?
The former pilot is he still alive ?

Hello,

2nd Lt Frank J. BORYCZKA, pilot of P-47D #42-76529 (405th FG / 509th FS) evaded capture after was shot down by Fw-190s between Evreux and Chartres area.
Aircraft crashed at Les Baux-de-Breteuil.
MACR 6498.

The exact date of the crash was 22nd June 1944 and not 08 June 44....

Archéavion,

Please note the correct spelling of the pilot's name: Boryczka and not Borcyzka or Borizka.

He died in Michigan on 14 February 2007.
