F8+EH WNr. 0023 was taken on by 1./KG 40 on 31 July 1940, according to http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...ght=Sea+Eagles. And it was damaged as F8+EH on 21.9.1940 and by the time it was repaired it would have had the same type of gun turret as Fw200C-3. (I have not seen any source for that 0023 was F8+KH so it is possible that 0023 was also F8+EH in early 1941)
So I think the F8+KH on the picture is not WNr. 0023 and is is taken in the summer or autumn of 1940. What is the source for that Fw 200C-2 WNr. 0015 was F8+KH? If WNr. 0015 was F8+KH I think that this is a picture of the Condor that crashed in Ireland on 20.8.1940. Regards, Johann Palsson
