I spoke with Florence Bettin and the family receive that Norman was killed 23th September 1944.He was on a P-51 Photo Recon Mission.I get from Florence more than 30 photos of Norman.At the 23th September it was a great disorder at Otterlo.
People from Arnhem evacuated to Otterlo,Harskamp and Barneveld.Its possible that the Germans find his body at October the 7th.We made a field research in the woods of Otterlo / Hoenderlo and found pieces of aluminium.Norman get a place in my book From Dutch to Dutch. kind regards,Jaap Vermeer
