Hi Stig,
thanks for the reply, I should have been more clearer, it was gunnery research unit.
So failing any other replies, i will have to find my notes from the PRO - NA, that mentioned it, but they are in the garage.
At least the dates you provided help me tie it down as between aug 41 ( when 307 Sqn first got beaufighters) and 1942, as supposedly 307Sqn flew it un-officially and prefered it to their beaufighters.
