Thanks for the reply. In the web, I noticed this site. By my information, the transition from F-86 to F-100 at the 36th FDW started in April 1956 and Aldrin joined the 22nd FDS in 1956. Did he ever flew an F-86 for 22nd FDW in Bitburg or did he already start in Bitburg completlely with F-100 ? Best regards ! Horst Weber |
