Re: Unknown label from a Luftwaffe crash site
Searching for 100089 printed on engine block I found: "BP+DK Junkers Ju87D-3 W.Nr.100089 The W.Nr. could be a MM number of Italy the unit is also of Italy 207 Squadriglia, source B0449". We find a italian Stuka?
Here are a fragment of another label ... 5. ... 13005-C5Nu 73128 ax ![]() In engine hole we also find a fragment of film and some fragment of gum ![]() ![]() |

Re: Unknown label from a Luftwaffe crash site
Look for some cast pieces of alloy (not engine) and look for the marking:
R8- If that is followed by a number, this will be the aircraft type; eg 87, 88, 109, 110.....etc etc etc. If you find any numbers on egine casting, that might help. EG; 601, 605, 211 etc etc. |
