Yes, only one vertical bar. This is likely WNr.10140 (damaged 40% by Flak, Tmimi) 4.June 1942.
There's photo from Emmert's collection in Prien, Stemmer, Rodeike & Bock's _Die Jagdverbaende der Deutschen Luftwaffe 1934 bis 1945_, Teil 8/I, page 260, photo #258. There is an error in the caption, there's only one vertical bar aft of the Winkel. Oblt. Schulz stands aft of the hole. There's a photo of the abandoned fuselage of page 144 of _Luftwaffe Colours, Volume 4, Section 2, Jagdwaffe - The Mediterranean 1942-1943_. GRM
