German sources put the crash southeast of Chiusi (SI)" . The name of Scherpf is not reported in my old newpaper, and the name of the crew is not reported in the book

The full crew was Ofhr. Heinz Scherf (observer); Uffz. Heinz Rutter (pilot); Uffz. Paul Hoffmann (listed as "Bd.", so possibly Bordschütze); Uffz. Manfred Malachow (radio operator).
