Hello ,
Ju-88G-6 werknumber 621964 from NJG 3 was lost during Operation Bodenplatte. Does anyone has an idea about the crew and theur fate ? |

Hi Alain
This was a plane from 4./NJG 3 / D5 + MM. It's crashed at about 01.20h 3km O Bocholt. The cause of the crashed is unknown. Crew: Uffz Gerhard Maus + / Uffz Johannes Gabriel G / Uffz Heinrich Wörheide G / Ogfr Helmut Mersmann + (G = prisoner). best wishes JoMe |

From the LEMB Ju88G-6 Database which can be found here, we have it as Bocholt near Limburg in Belgium. Source, Deutsche Nachtjadg by Michael Balss (p358)

Of course this loss has nothing to do with Bodenplatte. This was a regular Nachtschlachteinsatz. See also ADI(K) Report of this crash.
