Hi Horst, Heruser,

thanks for the replies, particlarly about the B17 losses.

KE 10140 relates to a Lancaster lost on the night of 6-7 Jan 1945, and I suspect that in the Dulag Luft file J 2859, there is a signal listing crashes, from which this reference has been erroneously added in the US index to the loss at Dreifingen. I am specifically interested in the list of crashes to see what may be in the signal besides KE 10139. The MACRs mentioned are a good starting place, thanks.
