F/Lt Fopp is credited with an FW-190 damaged on July 31, 1943.
On Jan 14, 1944 I have F/O Henry Lacy Smith as credited with an FW-190 destroyed. I do not have any HS Smith in my database. Frank.

Hi Brian & Frank,
My source for the FW 190 destroyed for Des Fopp is his obituary in the Telegraph, 31/8/2005. It could be that he considered this destroyed but was credited with it only as damaged (?) Obviously HS Smith is a typo; thanks for clearing this up. Cheers, Bruce Roll on the Ashes indeed!
