Re: which Me.109 /which LWpilot downed on Aug 17-1943/Beverloo,Belgium

Hello,

I am always 'puzzled' by this particular crash location (?) : (between?) "Hasselt-Waterloo" which is quite a long way. Would Hasselt be the place of combat and Waterloo the crashlanding place?
Moreover, I have Kraft's Bf 109 G-6 reported lost near Loenhout or Beverloo, so the quest continues.
Do you have investigated the crashsite at Genemeer? As you find 7,9 mm or 13 mm bullets it would mean Bf 109 G-4 or G-6; so we can 'narrow' the ID.

Best regards
