Re: JG 77 Me 109 crash
Hi Leo ..... further research indicates that the artefacts most probably relate to Fahnenjunker Horst Sandkuhl`s Stab 1 JG77 Me 109 G-14 featuring on your list. Precise details pinpoint impact to Ciervaux in Luxembourg. I have no connections out that far to establish who conducted the excavation or what else was uncovered to corroborate identification. If anyone does have any details in relation to this excavation or indeed more details relating to Horst Sandkuhl I would be delighted to hear from them...Cheers all Julian
