Two pilots strafed a B-17

Dear all,
referring to a gun camera footage available at YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2soKjXVhY-w), Capt. Halton and F/O Hurley of the 352nd FG strafed a B-17G on September 28, 1944. Does anyone know any details?

Thanks a lot! Regards, Filip Vojtasek
