Gefr Max Weniger was the regular Bf for Ltn. Ernst Schmidt 13(Z)/LG1, they were lost together on 23 Mar 1941 after the unit became I./NJG3. I'm not sure about Gefr. Brendel but I have a note that says it was Brenkel? I didn't record where I got that from. If Brenkel, then it could be another one of these misinterpretations from the hand written microfilms on the Tony Woods files Regards, Craig...
