Bs Uffz. Max Speck killed on return flight from attack on Hull while aircraft crashed on landing approach for Soesterberg 14-7-1943. Do217K-1 U5+FM 4/KG2 4350. Also killed Ff Fw Detlev Kruger, B Gef Heinrich Salecker, Bf Uffz. Fritz Bellmann.
See Ulk Balkes KG2 history and Luft Qm's returns. There is another Sterbebild of Max Speck with photo without hat and captioned ''an meinen lieben Mann und guten Vater'' which I believe translates as my dear husband and a good father.
