Re: Hs126 shot down by German destroyer 2/9/39
Zerstörer = destroyer (aircraft, e.g. Bf 110; warship, e.g. Z1 Leberecht Maaß) - which one "destroyer" do you mean?
As far as I know 2.(H)/21 was a sole German unit using Hs 126 and flying in that area. On September 2, 1939 a single Heinkel He 60D (W.Nr. 1463) was lost in the area of Danziger Bucht/Gdansk Bay (Pillau). |
