"White 11" Jasta Münster-Loddenheide

Hi all,
I downloaded some time ago the included pictures from the e-bay selection so kindly provided by Edwest and Ouidjat.

Has any of you additional information on this "white 11" or can read the girl's name on the nose?.
This plane is not included in the list of known 109's of the Jasta Münster-Loddenheide published in the Luftwaffe im Focus dedicated to the Bf 109.

Thank you for your time and cheers.

Miguel

Hello Miguel

I have these photos too and struggled with name but I believe it is 'Lisl'. I think the girls name usually is spelt 'Lisle' but perhaps a German member will confirm or correct me.

Cheers

chris

"Lisl" is correct. It is the Bavarian/Austrian abbreviation and diminutive form of "Elisabeth" or "Anneliese".
The Northern German counterpart would be "Liese" or "Lieschen". Hope this helps.

Regards

Roland

ChrisS and RolandF,

Thanks for your answer. Lisl seems to be the name.
