identity of b-17F Worry Wort before sept 43
Hi All,
Curiosity again, anyone know any info on a B-17F 'worry wort' crashlanded/shot down before sept 43. cheers Jerry

Thanks for links, but no this one went missing 8 oct '43. The photos of the crashed one,( in occupied territory) are pre sep '43,this was when the document was printed. Hence i was a bit confused... Presumably there was another b-17F worry wort cheers Jerry

Thanks for the info. a closer look by me shows is it actually 'worry wart' not 'worry wort', as I had typed. confusion cleared up now cheers Jerry

Curiously I found no name for 42-30153 on the 381st BG website, nor elsewhere.
However, 42-3153 seems to have been called Worry Wart during the short time with 96th BG before being transferred to 95th BG in June 1943. But this B-17F survived the war... Regards, Leendert
