Karátsonyi Mihály
Well, I guess, it was not mentioned here:
Mike 'Misu' Karatsonyi, a Hungarian WW II fighter ace, who passed away some months ago in California, was buried finally in the last week on Monday, 12 September, 2005 in the Frakasréti cemetery in Budapest, with full military honour. He was a member of the 101/3. 'Puma' Fighter Squadron, a great pilot and a very nice man. May he rest in peace. Last edited by Csaba B. Stenge; 20th September 2005 at 10:29. |

Re: Karátsonyi Mihály
An entry for Mike appears in the Social Security Death Index on ancestry.com. It gives his date of birth as 27 Nov 1922, and his date of death as 29 May 2005. His place of residence at time of death was Valley Village, Los Angeles County, California. His Social Security card was issued in Missouri before 1951.
Frank.

Re: Karátsonyi Mihály
He was born on 27 November, 1922 in Nagykőrös, and passed away on 29 May, 2005 in a Los Angeles hospital. Misu Karátsonyi had 5+ US kills (hard to say the very exact number)
