Think JG1 was involved.
If the given direction- West- is correct: a) Uffz. Helmut Stiegler, 4./JG1, Fw190A, belly landing after contact with the enemy 25km south of Diepholz. or b) Lt. Rudolf Kasischke, 4./JG1, Fw190A-7 "white two", KIA, dogfight with USAAF- fighters NO of Rheine. digedag1 |
