Re: NEW BOOK - Fw 190 D Camouflage & Markings - Part

Eric and Marc, A very big thank you for this superb effort. I really hope to get it soon. It fullfill one of my dreams. Do you have found that long lasting (colour pic?) of W. Nr. 500645??? Perhaps I should wait to read your book before complaining)) No of course, cause, IIRC it was not a FW own production...

Perhaps in volume 2.

Very big thank you again for your effort!

NEW BOOK - Fw 190 D Camouflage & Markings - Part

I meet Eric Larger one month ago. I have been very lucky to have in the hands for three "too short" hours all the pages of the book, just before it was going to be send to the editor.
I can say to all the "D9 fans" that this book will be a must for them. For each plane you will find mutiple very good photos and profiles (most of the time, the both sides). These profiles are excellent.
There are a lot of news and unpublished photos (I have allready on my shelves all the books showing D9 photos).

I have only two regrets :
- we shall have to wait for the second volume (I have seen some of the drawings and the photos of this second issue which are also of the best quality)
- Eric Larger has also unpublished material showing Ta 152 and he does not plan to include these photos in his second book.

Thanks Rémi

But be aware that , there are some new material in the printed version of part I , we would keep some surprise even for you too :-) ...

And I can ensure to anybody that your shelves are large and full of books !

I know that some will regret to wait a while for part II , but achieving what you saw in your hands one month ago , takes time to be assembled and ready to share with readers.

As you know sacrifiying quality and seriousness in our work is not the way we walk on .

Ta 152 is not a Fw 190D-9 , so not in the project in part I and part II even if the manufacturers are the same .

Have a nice week-end

Eric

ps : a scoop , my logo is one of the machines whose profile is in part I .

Needless to say, after Japo's superb books on the 109, we are anticipating great things.

Give my best to Tomas,
George

Fw 190 D Camouflage & Markings - Pt. 1

Hello,

I'm trying to locate this book in stock.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Ja Po told me that it was out of print.

Thank you,

Al Keller

Re: NEW BOOK - Fw 190 D Camouflage & Markings - Pt. 1

Hello

I was in Paris last week and I remember that few ones were available at the bookshop "La maison du Livre d'Aviation" , http://www.livre-aviation.com/.

Contact them . I think you can pay online , but I never try it .

All the best
Eric

You can still get a number of earlier Japo publications at :

http://www.aviationmegastore.com/?sh...&switchlang=EN

advanced search

Publisher = Janda & Poruba

No more 109K books though
