Fw 189 W/nr 788 (125) V7+1A of 1/NAGR32
Seeking information on the loss of Fw 189 W/nr 788 (125) V7+1A of 1/NAGR32 that forced landed on a frozen lake in Finnmarksvidda Finland 0n 15/th October 1944. Can anyone confirm the pilot was Lt. Freidrich Drexel? Any information on other crew members, the reason for the forced landing or photos of the crew or recovery appreciated.

Finnmarksvidda is in North-Norway and not in Finland. It is the largest width in Norway and lays in Finnmark county Greetings from wintercold Norway Knut |
