The most likely scenarios for the Bordfunkers this late in the war is that they were either: A. transferred to the bomber arm (or what was left of it) B. retained, or started retaining for single seat fighters or.. 3. most likely underwent some comabt training for grounds forces typically to flesh out the bleeding Fallschirmjager units, or Feld Division. I have document groups to a number of former crewman where this was the case. Regards Jeremy |
