Re: He 60 lost on 2 October 1941
Thanks Brian,
Is there any change on the loss location on the correction report of the 16 ? Or are the crew changed from missing to dead, possibly indicating that the aircraft was found ? |

Re: He 60 lost on 2 October 1941
The first report gives crash location as unknown and the two men as missing, while the second report just corrects the name of the B. There is no change of the mens status from missing to dead, would this suggest a late finding of the wreck possibly post war. The flight as shown in the GQM lists is Kistinki-Utna,

Re: He 60 lost on 2 October 1941
Laurent, just remembered the 'Deutche Flieger unter dem Nordlicht ' site it gives Herbert Schwarz as b. 4-2-1920 crash location as area of Kiestenki-Utsa and buried at Rovaniemi Gruft 3 Tafel 7. Date of death is given as 16-10-41 and aircraft details all as you have them. Mathias Cremer is shown as b. 2-6-1920 and buried at Rovaniemi Gruft 3 Tafel 1 all other details same as for Schwarz
