Re: Need help with Loss Card - Special Equipment
Thanks Kaczmarek
A bit more searching around Radio Frequency Unit lead me to: Duxford Radio Society. The page is about R1355 Gee Airborne Navigation Receiver and has a snippet saying: Quote:
GTI or CTI might be GPI as I found a reference to Ground Position Indicator I do not think it is Green Target Indicator as these are shown in the bomb load section rather then SPEC. EQIP. section of the form. Looking again it is mentioned once after H2S so in this context could it be Ground Target Indicator? The other context is in this list of Spec. Equip. if from a 97 Sqn PFF: ARI 5085 H2S 5025 A.P.I 5153 5560 Fishpond G.P.I Gee (The first letter of GPI is not clear. So it could be 5.P.I or S.P.I) MK XIV B/S Thanks for your help folks. Robert |
