The problem is that you can't be certain of anything if you don't know the source for your notes. Even then if it was someone else's caption to a photo then that was just their opinion, not a certainty. Artwork is sometimes based only on imagination, sometimes it is an opinion (which may be well-founded or not) about photographs or other information. One's own interpretation of a photo (even if it was colour) is not a certainty, especially where a non-standard scheme is involved.

I'm sure that II./JG 77 had a Bf 109 G-6 "yellow 6" in 1944 (probably several) but unfortunately no one here so far seems to know a reference for the machine you describe.
