Trying to locate German pre-war base at Langensalza

Hello,

At least part of III./St.G.2 was based at and trained up at a place called Langensalza prior to the war. When I do a google map search, I come up with many Langensalza but as street names in German cities. Where in Germany or Austria is this Langensalza? Is this Bad Langensalza, the spa town in the State of Thuringia, Germany? There is no airfield there, at least not now, with the closest being at Erfurt. Is this Bad Langensalza the pre-war base for III./StG.2 or was this someplace else?

It is the Bad Langensalza in Thuringia. The coordinates are:
51° 07' 30" North
10° 37' 40" East

The airfield no longer exists. It was dismantled in 1947.

Ok, you live thousands of miles away, but the name of our state capital is Erfurt and not Eurfurt.

And there are numerous losses for that base reported in the Schulen losses through Sep-44 when the the Gen.Qu. Schulen losses end.

Bad Langensalza still exists as an light aircraft/glider airfield, even if it is not in its former glory (if I may say so about a Luftwaffe airfield); here are BL in 1944 (thanks to J. Zapf) and in 2000 (thanks to Google):
