Re: unknown USAAF patch 1943-44 to identify

Hi ,

pilot was in 367th FS, 358th FG in late 1944, but that one patch is not the one of the 367th FS (a bloody vulture called "gruseome Gus").

Possibly the attached patch would be the one from the 443th FS?

He flew in that training squadron on Richmond base, Virginia, before flying in ETO in summer 1944.

Could someone confirm that?
