The two named authors below, Hartmann and Schlaug, devoted years to piecing together the history of TGr. 30 and neither of them make any mention of Klamke's loss. He just seems to have disappeared as many did during the final 3 weeks of the war. E.Hartmann 3-part Gruppe history article in Luftwaffen-Revue magazine, Heft (issue) 2/1993, 3/1993 and 4/1993; G.Schlaug article in Jet & Prop magazine 2/1996, pages 53-54; G.Schlaug letter to H.L.deZeng dated 25 May 1995.
