Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source

Those were easily retrofitted, Srecko... not a definitive clue, alas.

What do you think of this very peculiar camouflage?

Cheers

Extra dark shade could be late war color and extra dark on tail is like hand painted late war purple brown (?) shade as seen on some preserved relics. Demarcation of dark top color is sharply visible at rear fuselage behind band. Very dark two shades on top wing... RLM81 and 82?

Re: Late war Bf 109 pictures source

Hi all,
FrankD8 is my newly created Flickr account. Original source of those "Salzburg" images and additional info can be found here: http://www.luftwaffe-experten.org/fo...=1&#entry55512

The owner labeled these shots as "Salzburg", but of course he could have remembered wrongly. This happened not so seldom as one might think.

Regards,
Christian
