Seems that on 10.April 45 , a Me163 shot-down a Lancaster at 16h02 , is there any confirmation existing ??

Hi Rémi...

According to pages 275-277 of "Me163 Rocket Interceptor - Volume 2" by Ransom & Cammann (Classic, 2003) Lt.Friedrich "Fritz" Kelb made the first and last operational sortie in a Me163 fitted with vertically firing 50mm weapon known as SG500 Jagerfaust and he destroyed an RCAF Lancaster which was attacking Engelsdorf...

I don't think so... but I'd love to be proved wrong. There is a fairly detailed description of the weapon here though...

Many thks, in the Areo-journal from Okt.2011, it seems that we could find something about the event ,

That weapon pretty dangerous, but also pretty dangerous to the planes who hv to be quite near their prey..
