19th Dec 1943

Who was the pilot, that crashed on 19th Dec 1943 in area Olang- Antholzertal, Pustertal (val Pusteria) Südtirol/Italy. Probably a Me 109, parts to be found in 2012. Same day crashed Lt. Emil Bitsch in area Sexten, Pustertal. But this incident is well researched!
Thanks for any suggestions.

Is there any compiled list with all? (most) crashed German pilots incl. location and day of crash?

Re: 19th Dec 1943

I have no record of Oblt. Emil Bitsch, Stkp. of 8./JG 3, crashing on 19-Dec-43. Bitsch did make a claim on that day at PlQu. 04 Ost S / KC. There were 2 III./JG 3 machines reported lost south/southeast of Innsbruck, Austria that day with no named pilots. Südtirol/Italy likely very well relate to the reported loss location. Unfortunately the crash sites aren't specifically reported in the losses. I certainly may have overlooked something where he is named in the sources I have. Can you fill in the details?

Re: 19th Dec 1943

Many thanks for reply.
Learn about Emil Bitsch under
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emil_Bitsch
and
http://www.luftwaffe.cz/bitsch.html

No doubt, Lt. Bitsch crashed on 19th Dec.1943 near Sexten/Sesto Sudtirol, Italy.
Maybe on of his comrades from JG3 crashed on the same day nr. Olang/Valdora Southtyrol, Italy.
Investigations are going on.

No doubt? There is nothing in either of those links you provided that mentions Bitsch being shot down on 19-Dec-43. Again, am I missing something? Can you be more specific?
