Hi.
Could you please quote the text on the Sterbebild or better upload a scan? I can not find any matching information for a pilot in a fighter unit being killed or wounded on this date, there are however possibilities in other units that sustained losses on this date. The difficulty in identifying him is probably due to the fact that at that time only crew members of officer rank were listed on the GenQu loss records, while the non-officers were simply listed as for example 4 Tote meaning 4 dead personnel of non-officer rank. Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!
