Thank you. Do you have any details on the Me110s attacking and sinking a the life boat dropped by F/Lt E Fitchew and crew to the crew Flight Sergeant W Martin RCAF skipper of Short Stirling BF522 HA-N who had ditched that night on return from Germany. Five of the crew were known to have survived the ditching and managed to get into the Stirlings dinghy. At 16.25 the Hudsons dropped a "Special Lifeboat" and the five crew were seen to scramble aboard. At 16.30hrs two Me110's attacked the Lifeboat with cannon and mg fire. The rest you know, is there any details via the German side about the killing of five helpless men? Regards Steve
