Hi Jim,
I won’t surprise if your information is good. Though: - VG+CO is given as 4961 in I./JG 26, JGr. West and II./JG 101. First date of notice 16/6/1941, last date 5/12/1943. In LEMB StKz Data base. Main indicated sources being: JFV Prien. Foreman, TOCH, micro film - Gen.Qu.6.Abt. (mfm #3)-Vol.5 and micro film - Gen.Qu.6.Abt.(mfm #9)-Vol.15. That match better with 4948/VG+CB. We have, too, in Bert Hartmann list: VG+CE 4951 II./NAG 102 in January 1944 VG+CF 4952 2./NAG 102 March 1944 VG+CL 4958 1./JGr. Süd Mai 1943 Same thing for VG+CO VG+CX 4970 E-Stelle Rechlin Mai 1941 VG+CY 4971 E-Stelle Rechlin Mars 1941 Regards, Franck.
