Looking for info on Bf-109E-4 W.Nr.5365
Hi
I have acquired an undercariage leg from a Bf109-E and after cleaning have found the number 5365 stamped into the upper leg portion. My questions are: Is this number the actual Werk number of the aircraft? (If it is not then ignore the next question) If it is the werk number then I would love some more information on this plane. So far the name Rudolf Schmidt has come up and the unit 5.II.JG 77.    Any information would be much appreciated. Regards Drew
