Hello Michaël,
Fuel tanks in the cones is definitely pointing to a He219A-7 and because we already know that the wreck was a Rostock produced bird, we are now able to narrow down the number of possible Werkenummer. We also know - thanks to information from Sven, Jörn and Gerhard - that some He219A-7's were delivered to the I./NJG 3 in Grove mid January 1945 and after. If an ID tag can be found on the tank in the cone(s) we have confirmation. Jolly good show ! Keep up the good work, Marcel
