Galland or Stiegler Me 262 'white 3'

i found in internet some pages that says that me 262 'white 3' was the plane of Stiegler not Galland...which Me262 used Galland??

Hi!

Only Franz Stigler flew White 3...Galland used various aircraft, so his aircraft could not be ID'd by the enemy.

Here is a thread that I came across on the Large Scale Planes modeling forum that has some quite interesting information by David Brown regarding the aircraft that Generalleutnant Galland may have flown during his time with JV 44. This thread does date from 2005 so perhaps newer information has superseded what was written but perhaps it still is valid.

In Jerry Crandalls Fw 190D opus Vol2 there´s a photograph of a JV 44 Me262 with the code white << + shining thorough the comouflage nets.
It is told that this was Galland´s regularly used jet. In contrary to the mottled 3 + it wears the usual dark green camo of the late Obertraubling and Schwäbisch Hall Me 262s
