1945-01-01, 2./JG 6, FW 190A-8, 737414, 12 rote, Aarlesche Heide, südsüdöstlich Oirschot, 13 km nordwestlich Eindhoven, Absturz bei Notlandung nach Flakbeschuß. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Hptm Trost, Ewald, gefangen

This must be your Uffz Ewald Trost, because his EKM (60042-series) was given by 8./ZG 26. I have no other Ewald Trost in my database.

Hi John, Are you saying that Trost served with ZG1 before ZG26? If you have anything on him for this period would be delighted to know!

Kind regards

Melvin

Re: Uffz. Ewald Trost ZG26?

I had the honour of knowing Herr Ewald Trost very well, I met him several times for my Bodenplatte and JG 6 research. Send me a pm.

Thanks,

John
