Hi,
Are you sure about the possible crash dates, 27 or 29 September 1943? There was bad weather from 27 to 29 September, and almost no German missions were flown on those days. On 27 September only a few reconnaissance sorties were flown. On 28 September only five reconnaissance sorties were flown. On 29 September only a handful of sorties were flown.
