3 junkers 88 hit or crashed in toulouse area on 6 january 1944
Good evening,
On 6 january 1944, three JU88 of IV KG76 were either damaged or crashed in Toulouse area due to Mosquito intruders (23 Sq.) or Flak lights blindness. These aircraft were : - Wnr 0166 F1+DU Crew: M. Jungbeck, M. Scafer, H. Deigmoller and Andresen - Wnr 4395 F1+EV Crew G. Frick, Georg, Richter, Werner crashed due to pilot incapacited (blinded) by Flak lights - Wnr unknown, Crew: L. Wimmer, K. Geiger, G. Wieland, hit and damaged by night fighters, managed to escape and to land although landing gear was damaged. I am looking for information about these events, these aircraft and the crews. Any help will be appreciated, would it be reports, pictures, etc... Regards GC
