Hi guys
More information has come to light regarding the friendly fire incidents that occurred on 21 December 1943 near the Somme Estuary, when two Typhoons of 609 Squadron and a Spitfire of 501 Squadron were lost to US fighters. It appears that 78thFG claimed three FW190s and a Bf109 in the same area and at the same time. Can anyone provide details of the 78thFG claims? Cheers Brian
