Junkers Nachrichten - company magazines

I'm looking for a place (library, archive etc) where I can study a complete collection of the Junkers Nachrichten, the company magazine. So far I've only located the odd issue, but not the full collection. Has anyone seen such a collection somewhere?

There are quite a lot of interesting information and photos in them, so they are well worth to read!

Thank you!
/Mikael

Re: Junkers Nachrichten - company magazines

Hej!

If I remember correctly Library of the Helsinki University of Technology does have an incomplete collection of Junkers Nachrichten. I have paged through them and indeed the illustrations are excellent! I think we are talking about the same publication. The magazines are/were (read more) in the closed collection in the basement, but it helps if one is HUT personnell.

The problem is that I could not find the magazines in the electronic catalogue (at: http://lib.tkk.fi/index-en.html - click "Teemu" at left frame. I hope they haven't get rid of the magazines as they have done with many other (though more recent) material.

MvH,
Kari

Re: Junkers Nachrichten - company magazines

Hello Mikael,
Some years ago when I was researching a flight done by some Junkers F 13 to Brasil a friend in Germany found one Nachrichten and sent me a copy. I do not remember from which library or archive it went. I guess best place would be in Germany of course. Maybe you could contact some of the archives listed in this page and ask them about.

Good hunting happy dad!

I travell now and then to Helsinki in my work so I might be able to visit the University then.

Re: Junkers Nachrichten - company magazines

Hej!

I checked the situation at the HUT library and unfortunately the electronic catalogue is right. The Junkers Nachrichten -collection has been removed. Probably it has been sent to the Finnish Library Archive at Kuopio.

It means that the magazines do exist but are not really accessible. Advance order (~ interlibrary loan) has to be done to get them. This is quite recent news and the University Libraries electronic catalogue still shows that HUT library has the items. Perhaps the magazines are still in transit?

Kari

PS There was no Henschel magazines of any kind at HUT library.

Thanks Kari for help! Very much appreciated.

I wonder if inter library loans can be made to Sweden from Finland? I'll check that.

Best wishes
