Hi Johannes,

Is this correct?

"On 13th April 1943 he was shot down and wounded, his Bf109 coming down over Derpat, Russia".

Or do you mean 13th April 1944?

I believe he survived WWII and if he transferred to JG5 I would hope there might be more information on him.

Need to do a bit more digging.
