Dear Peglar,
I do not know whether Uffz. Küppers survived the war, but Fw 190D-9, W.Nr. 211044 was found, stripped, at Weimar airfield on 12 April 1945 by elements of the 80th U.S. Infantry Division. The fact that the aircraft was moved from its crash site and stripped of its useful parts leads me to believe that Uffz. Küppers' crash landing may not have been overly serious, and that he likely survived. I hope this helps. Cheers, Marc
