Re: VERY interesting files in BAMA #1.
Thank you Lennart,
Yes that was part of the purpose. To provide a searchable DB, to save time and maybe to order files by mail. When I have a full understanding of that process I'll up-load the appropriate forms. bregds SES |

Re: VERY interesting files in BAMA #1.
Hi, SES and you other guys.
Just a small word of caution regarding the 'order files by mail' function... Some of these files (especially in the RL 3 section) can be VERY large. Just so that You don't fire off a message to the archive and end up having to let the guys at Selke take over Your house.... ![]() Regards, Andreas |

Re: VERY interesting files in BAMA #1.
Hi Andreas,
Thank you for the heads-up. Yes you have to be careful both with quantity and quality if you order by mail. Some of the titles of the files can be deceptive, and you might end up getting something you not quite expected. But I have applied a cost/effective approach. 100 pages of files useless to oneselves is 30 euro - a trip to Freiburg is ? :-), and there is always a friend around who will think, that the files were just what HE needed. bregds SES |

Re: VERY interesting files in BAMA #1.
SES,
I do same. It is little bit like lottery to order something what has unknown number of pages, but it is still cheaper than trip and stay in Freiburg. Jan

Ahem, I suppose some of the visitors have acquired or seen those files, so perhaps they will be kind enough to add a few lines on their contents?

Re: VERY interesting files in BAMA #1.
Hi Franek,
If you refer to my listing, none of us have seen all of them. If you refer to this particular one, it is in my opinion the most hilarious incident in the collapse of the 3'Reich. Göring have Karinhall demolished by explosives, jumps on his thusty train ASIEN and goes down to Berchtesgarden. From here he sends a message to Hitler offering to take over the supreme control of Das Reich. He his promptly arrested by the SS and confined to quarters. I personally had no idea, that transcripts of telephone conversations between Göring and the senior German leadership related to this incident were preserved. And THAT I found interesting. bregds SES |
