What I was trying to quickly describe as "Central Finland front" was the large espace between the area where German aircraft and troops were active in the north and the lake Onega. This area being covered by weak Finnish air units on the Axis side.
I tried to make the distinction between N Finland (where German were active), central Finland (see above) and S Finland (roughly englobing the Svir front, the Karelian isthmus and the Gulf of Finland: all these areas are not covered by this blog as far as I know).
