All

I am looking at Steinkraus grade, Flg, which I take it means Flieger. Wasn't this basically corresponding to the lowest rank there was if in service with Luftwaffe? I have never come across a pilot which such low rank and was basically of the opintion this was reserved for ground crew or raw recruits only. Are we looking at an individual who has been downgraded for some reason or other?
